The Hermitage

The Hermitage Apartments project is an eight-story building with 348 rental units in St. Petersburg, FL. CEG provided structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services. The first phase consisted of site amenities to accommodate a three-story structure including a 39,645-square-foot office building, with a first-level lobby, shop, gym, storage, labs and stairs. Covered parking lot involved spaces, driveways, a loading/delivery area, sidewalks, additional utility infrastructure, landscaping and storm-water treatment. In addition, construction administration services were provided throughout the project. Phase two will consist of enclosing the bottom level and converting the garage to office tenant space of 58,610 square feet.

Fusion 1560

Construction Engineering Group provided the SMEP design engineering services for this new midrise building in St. Petersburg, FL. The building comprised 321 units with eight designs and included retail just outside the garage in the luxury apartments and clubhouse that surround it. The garage is a seven-level ventilated parking structure that includes 554 spaces and three elevators. The residential structures are timber framed and the parking structure is precast concrete. Gross square footage is 185,200.

Grande Palisades

This Orlando, FL, lakefront resort project features a seven-story building with 890 living units and 45,000 square feet of retail shops, restaurants, and health and fitness centers. The massive structure and associated parking garages total more 2.3 million square feet. This building represents the second phase of a planned 8,800-unit development. Construction Engineering Group provided the structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing engineering services for this project.
