Northrop Grumman

The Northrop Grumman Campus of Excellence project in Melbourne, FL, is a several hundred-million-dollar project that includes fully renovating and significantly increasing existing buildings to a 173-acre campus consisting of 12 total buildings and four new ones. The four new buildings total 397,476 square feet and the project is creating almost 2,000 new jobs at the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport.

Satcom Direct

Construction Engineering Group provided civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for the Satcom Direct project in Viera, FL. Civil engineering services consisted of designing and permitting a master-plan campus with multiple phases. The first phase comprised site amenities to accommodate a three-story, 39,645-square-foot office building, with a first-level lobby, shop, gym, storage, labs, stairs and covered parking. Parking included spaces, driveways, a loading/delivery area, sidewalks, additional utility infrastructure, landscaping, and storm-water treatment. In addition, construction administration services were provided throughout the project. Phase two will consist of enclosing the bottom level and converting the garage to office tenant space for a total building area of 68,610 square feet. The mechanical, electrica, and plumbing engineering services for the first phase included DX HVAC system and controls, plumbing connections, building electrical design, lighting plans, stand-by generator design, fire protection system and site lighting design with an exterior electrical plan for connections.

Space Coast Credit Union Headquarters

This project consisted of a multi-phase expansion of the existing Space Coast Credit Union Headquarters in the Suntree area of Brevard County, FL. The first two phases of this spectacular project consisted of the headquarters building expansion of 44,344 square feet in addition to the existing 80,268-square-foot structure with a 226,248-square-foot, four-story parking garage built on the northwest corner of the site, all infrastructure improvements such as off-site utilities, and the master-planned storm-water treatment system. In addition to the permitting and design of the complete campus, CEG provided construction oversight for the phases of the project that have been constructed. Phase III includes the construction of two additional office buildings totaling 98,488 square feet and associated site amenities.
